About Carrier Schedules and Data
Where do the shipping line figures come from?
Transit times and schedule reliability come from containers tracked on ShipsGo, so they show what the vessels actually did rather than what was planned. Planned sailings, taken from the schedules carriers publish, are being added carrier by carrier.
How is schedule reliability measured?
For each container we compare the transit time it actually took with the transit time planned when it sailed. A carrier's schedule reliability is the average of that comparison across its tracked containers in the last six months.
How often are the carrier pages updated?
The figures are recalculated every week, and each carrier page shows when they were last updated.
How do I compare carrier schedules on one route?
Search your port of loading and port of discharge in Service Finder. You'll see every carrier's services on that route side by side, with real transit times, schedule reliability and recent sailings.
